About the event

In collaboration with the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center at Howard University, the US-ASEAN Young Professionals Association will be hosting a diplomatic fellowship webinar featuring current and former Fellows of the Charles B. Rangel Graduate Fellowship Program, Donald M. Payne International Development Fellowship Program, and the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Graduate Fellowship Program. The purpose of this webinar is to attract young Americans with a Southeast Asian background to apply for the aforementioned fellowships that will help prepare them for careers in the U.S. Foreign Service. Each fellowship will provide tuition support, stipends, internship placements, mentorship, and professional development activities while pursuing a two-year master’s program. Through attending the webinar, participants will learn about options they have to apply, resources to obtain additional information, and ascertain if the fellowships are beneficial to themselves and their goals through hearing about the experiences of previous fellows.
